Especially what are the machines and equipment I need to have in order to start a rasonably good businesscard pringting center.

Most print shops will not survive on only printing business cards. There is very little income in that. Plus, a 50$ printer you can buy for your home can do an excellent job of printing business cards.

I think that if you want to start a printshop, you might have to branch out more than just printing business cards.

I think you should look online and find the next printing convention in your area, or go to one of the bigger ones (there is a huge one in Fankfurt, Germany every year). See what's coming out in the print machine market, talk to the companies that make those machines, and to other printers. You will see the latest advancements in the field. The machines are getting cheaper and cheaper and have more and more features to them, so it's worthwhile checking out professional forums.

you need an ab dick-360 with t head and prepress stuff you need a plate maker then you can print businesscards just like the big boys.



If you gona start a business It would probably be best to do print brokering at first before you buy lots of expencive equipment that you would need to make real nice business cards.

Go to your city hall get a biz license and then go get yourself a nice printer and some paper, advetise yourself and then start printing.
