Question:
Is GSA Preview or GSA 1000 a Scam?
2010-05-18 23:10:40 UTC
I searched ripoffreport.com and I called the Florida's Attorney General and they have also stated that they have complaints about this company. Go to Florida's Attorney General website: http://myfloridalegal.com and click on consumer protection. There are so many complaints when you do a search for gsa preview as scam always comes up.

It is strange because you typically do not find these many complaints on a business that has great business practices.

If someone has actually gotten a GSA Schedule through GSA Preview (within the last 6 months) and can confirm be taking me to the GSA website, then please leave your email because we are a small business and can't afford to lose $7000.

GSA Preview or GSA 1000 website has listed a lot of approved schedules but I was then told that they did not approve all those schedules. Those are the approved schedules from the real GSA website. Hmmm, why are they on their website is my question if they did not do the work? That seems misleading...I have many doubts and need someone OTHER THAN AN EMPLOYEE AT GSA PREVIEW to relieve my thoughts before we spend $6500/$7500. It seems like all rebuttals on websites come from their employees. Heck, I even saw a former employee who was willing to participate in a class action lawsuit because he was turned off by their business practices. SOMEONE HELP ME MAKE A DECISION OR GIVE ME ADVICE AS TO ANOTHER COMPANY BECAUSE I SMELL A RAT. Thanks!

They are part scam part Trojan horse. They do processing of GSA applications but the processing staff is overloaded with applications and not many are getting approved. They have a checkered past here is a list of companies they have rolling or have bankrupted.

Countryside Publishing

GSA Preview

GSA 1000

TV Host

Alliance Publishing

GDI Alliance

Fema Today (got busted) misrepresentation

Federal Suppliers Guide (never actually provided any benefit to the over 6500 customers they sold $1000 ads to)

GSA Today!

Federal Verification Company (just put on hold after hiring 40 agents and firing them all)

MANY MORE TO MENTION!! THAT IS A RED FLAG!

If you don't bite on the initial $7500 just wait a company saying they are not GSA Preview or any of the others will call you to offer you the same service at $4500, I smell a bait and switch!

I was an employee so I know what I am talking about. The sales person will make promises that the company will not honor, this is a huge problem and the amount of charge backs they get is astounding. They even have a on site attorney to swat down the complaints and charge backs and he is full time, who has a full time attorney on staff when they are not a law firm or do legal work.

They have many employees that are always in fear of their jobs in this tough economy, so they know they are lying but need the money to survive. I wont name names but the owners have an interesting backround and are not on paper due to a felony conviction, but you would not guess that by the owners 1/4 million dollar car sitting in the handicapped spot in front. The owner listed on Sunbiz.org is just a beard, Jose Glennon was just the graphics manager and not really is the owner. zThey even hired a full time media publicist to help get all the negative press squashed on the internet. The company is deceptive in its practices and if I was a company with limited financial resources I would do as much as I could to not just listen to a sales guy but do your research. You need use a application company to do the paperwork for you, even GSA will suggest that to you. Please do your homework before you invest in something that is promised to you by a company with so much bad history.

The names have remained the same but the game has not changed, stay away these guys are a scam do more research and go with your gut. Too good to be true, usually is.

The above comments ARE employees and when you ask how long most have been there they are usually about 4 months and then they are fired. The above comments are misleading.

Why don't you leave YOUR email and let someone contact you? I don't believe you will because you have been answered on numerous other forums under the aliases of Gia Jackson, Gia J, John George, Gia Smith, Gina, and so on. The language is nearly identical, the links are the same, and the shouting (all caps) is the same. Your posts are bordering on harassment and can be easily refuted. GSA Preview does not "approve" GSA Schedule Contracts. The government does. GSA Preview provides the service of filling out the paperwork for you, and that includes typical bureaucratic forms which can run to 500 pages. It actually is something you can do for yourself...if you have a year or so to devote to it. In addition, the list of companies found on the website which were awarded GSA Contract Schedules was processed by GSA Preview. That is a fact which can be verified. We can prove our involvement in each approval as the U. S. General Services Administration (GSA) requires a form from the company allowing us to represent them. If anyone really wants an answer to this question, check out the BBB here: : http://www.bbb.org/west-florida/business-reviews/publishing-consultants/gsa-1000-in-oldsmar-fl-90065320 GSA Preview has a B+ rating and NO complaints that have not been resolved.

Continuing to make false statements, such as you have here, is dishonest and can potentially lead to action against you. If you have a legitimate question about GSA Preview, please contact Joe Glennon, the Managing member. He will be happy to answer your questions.

Most GSA's are actually started by students. If you want to start a GSA, find some other students who are interested & maybe start a petition or something & take it to the head of the school. I don't know how it initially got started, but I go to a Catholic based college as I'm getting my Master's degree, & they have a GSA! I was pretty impressed. Unfortunately I can never go because their meeting times are when I'm still @ work.

Actually, they are an application preparation service, they do not approve the GSA's themself, they prepare the application for you and then submit it to GSA. The companies on their website that are listed as GSA holders were represented by GSA preview. We are a small business that met them at the GSA expo earlier this month. They represent clients at Tradeshows and were very professional. We tried to get a GSA on our own but it’s so time consuming we keep getting side tracked, and putting it off and the schedule we are applying for keeps refreshing, so we’ve had to redo the same paper work twice already. We are talking to GSA preview right now about having them prepare our schedule. Most other companies we’ve looked into want to charge us over 10,000 so that’s why we are looking to work GSA preview. They came very highly recommended by a company called Datalink. I spoke to Datalink and they told us that immediately after they were awarded their GSA they got a huge contract and after each tradeshow that GSA Preview represented them at they have also won large contracts that combined equaled well over 1.5 million. Just take in to consideration how easy it is for anyone to get mad and write slander about someone else on the internet and even if it is resolve the comments remain forever. I also just found this today: http://www.i-newswire.com/gsa-preview-helps-power-shaver/37298

It’s a link to a press release about them getting a company’s application awarded.
