"I want to start export import business from my home office"?

Respected all viewer and Professional,

I am a computer graduate and MBA pass out with Marketing and HR. I have 1 year of work experience in service marketing as a relationship manager in website designing company in Delhi and 1 month of sells experience in product selling in FMCG . My passion is marketing.I want to earn good margin in any business. I am not satisfied with limited money so now i left my job because i want to start my own business in export import.
So dear all Is it possible to start in this field without any prior experience. Or shall i join any export import company first. I want to carry and start this business from my flat that is in south Delhi. I have little idea about procedure of import and export, But never tried.

So please it is humble request you all to leave any suggestion good or bad, so that i could get some good idea.
And please suggest me which product may be more profitable and best country and state to export or import.
I don't want to invest much in starting phase of business,i willing to invest in first phase up to rs.1 lack only , but further after good result i can investment any amount.

Please give me your valuable suggestion with all negative and positive experience, that may arrive in starting and expending of any product in any place,

You are the only one that can figure that out as every situation is unique. You need to find an unmet need that is also something you like to do. Complete a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis and write a business plan to prove that the business idea is workable. I have a degree in business and we did all those international business classes. I would say learn multiple languages and pick something to import / export. Such as electronics or clothes. Focus and start small, make money and go from thier.

Hi, Search for export agents in Hong Kong and China ie a middle man on google, also become free member of Alibaba site. Choose any product through Alibaba you will recieve product list, price. many suppliers will introduce their products. Suppose you want to export handicraft from Ajmair, look for good and honest supplier and you can introduce through Alibaba and will get enquiries from USA and Europe. Before your start your business you need to take interest in some product for example Smoking Pipes,bong etc from West Bengal and Dehli, get the best price, but donot buy and wait for response from Alibaba, esourses and wholesales sites.
