Hi – I sell on eBay. It works for me. I profit about $3,500 a month and only work about 6 hours a day, from home, on the schedule I choose. Please email me directly and I will be glad to share some tips on getting started and what kinds of things have worked for me.

There is no specific answer to this question. Selling on Ebay successfully has a lot to do with your life experiences. Are you good at finding great bargains for a particular item or are you educated in sales or marketing? If you have no talents, spend some time on Ebay analyzing what's hot or subscribe to a service that does just that. Ebay only becomes easy and profitable to those who develop the ability to provide a product or service that is sought after and not just trying to sell common items unless you have a relatively little known source at a fantastically low cost for those items For example, a successful antique or collectible dealer knows all the locations to find items for a dollar or two that unknowing people sell without ever researching...those items often sell for a hundred dollars or more. No one will tell you there secrets of how they have developed a niche for selling on Ebay...why would they want to develop competition while the profits are there unless they decide to sell this knowledge on Ebay.

Well, you win some and lose some. You have to pay ebay twice and paypal once and that adds up, especially if your selling stuff you find at yard sales and such. Sometimes you think your going to make a killing off something and you get one bid or none. Sometimes you think you'll be lucky to make anything off something and get multiple bids and a shameful amount of money. What I've noticed about ebay lately is its gotten so big that alot of people are ordering wholesale and selling dirt cheap on ebay, so when it comes to used items, they just don't sell as well anymore. Seems to me like its become retail instead the worlds biggest yard sale.

That's a very good question. I've been trying to think of something too. It's difficult cos of the postage and packaging. Postage always puts me off buying stuff. Amazon have a crazy postage pricing deal. If you buy 2 items from an independent seller you pay 2 postage charges. I think you need to sell something that will fit in an ordinary size envelope or something that will go in the ordinary post. Books are good or small electronic items like memory cards or sim cards. The only thing is dude, everyone's at it. Most couriers will only deliver to business addresses as well. Good luck!!

1.Get a digital camera and take close up shots of whatever you are selling.A scanner would be helpful also.

2. Stamp collections, coin collections,States Quarters do very well.

3.70's rock seems to do pretty well on Ebay,or Karaoke cd's .

4. Learn to use a good descriptive writing technique, and also make sure you describe any type of flaws in the product, including minor ones.

5. Remember ,Feedback is a key to a good selling success.

6. Set up your paypal account first,it takes about 3 or 4 days.

Good luck!

People go on ebay to buy everything. Anything you try to sell is most likely to sell.

I have been selling electronics on ebay for 3 months now. Right after i went to www.makemoneyfromelectronics.c... There they showed me where to get electronics for such a low price that I profited just a bit over

$ 10,000 my first month. There is also good products to buy in bulk there that you can sell. They also added me to their msn messenger and keep me updated on new leads and new info on how to improve my business. They are very helpful. Iam very happy and I recommend them.http://makemoneyfromelectronics.com/......

In the uk the latest tom tom sat navs go at a fast rate, u would need to get them imported from china, also mp3 players, all the top dudes have good contacts in asia. Rugs from peru do well. Taps and towel warmers go fast, sorry china again. I had a contact in peru who wanted to do peruvian craftware, that may be good.

People go opn e-bay for a range of different items/products its all whatevah tickles their fancy.

Personally i think if you are able to get hold of big names like Prada, Armani for clothes, assesories then they are very popular and sell very well as they retail for £100.....s in the shops.

Good Luck if you find a shop woth retailing...

I would pay 1p for people to stop asking silly question on Yahoo.

Do your own research - search ebay and find out what people want.
