I do PC repairs, How do i get more/better clients? I can hardly afford to feed myself!?

Question

I am a PC TECH with my A+ still in school working on my MCSE and much much more. I do PC repair Networking pc tune-ups. obtain software , media aswell as consultation. I need to change what im doing with my business bc im obv doing it wrong. I am very good at what i do and every job i have done thus far have gotten 10/10 reviews, i take pride in my work. except business has slowed down to the point of where i am not making enough $ to feed myself every day! It seems i will have to hit the pawn shop to sell all of my pc / tech tools screens pcs laptops pretty soon ... I am trying my best to stay away from illegal activities and want to just live a normal life , i cant even get a normal job, it just seems i am in a rut and things are getting worse by the day... I am posting flyers in all the mail rooms at all of the apt complexes in the neighborhood and trying to post online craigslst etc for pc repairs and remote if i am too far! .. .now how do i get my business setup in high gear and to the point where i could even have a store , many people dont trust people taking their expensive computers overnight for in depth repairs when i don't even have a public company address any ideas? i am seriously down to my last dollar and havent eaten since the other day , i am sick of living like this... i am about to just give up!

go look for work at a local pc store, maybe even bestbuy's geek squad



until you can save up enough money to try and start your own biz. at least so you can stop starving and pawning your stuff!

have you tried anything besides craigslist or online classified services? I would say your posting fliers in all the right places, maybe you should also post them on campus at you school? I would say keep track of the work you've done so far and present the last two years of work to the bank so maybe you can get a small business loan to invest into advertisement on facebook, google, bus stops, billboards etc,

To begin with get a job any job will do. If your lucky to get a computer job great. Get business cards made up with what you do on them. Your are not in business yet so do not use a business name until you are. Hand them out to people you meet, over time people will contact you. My son repairs computers on the side and does very well, so can you if you do it right. But first get a job.
